document scanning.net's aperture card scanning machines ensure that any cards can be transferred onto CD or stored electronically. We can index them to customers requirements and deliver via a Microsoft® compatible database or proprietary document management application. The aperture cards shown contain Hollerith punch codes. The Hollerith contains drawing information, making the process cheaper as manual indexing is not required. Important codes are size, drawing number, revision and sheet number.
