If allowed, the cheapest way of scanning books is to remove the spine and scan using our high speed duplex automatic document feed scanners. If required we can also arrange for re-binding of the books.
If removing the spine is not allowed we will use a book eye scanner which is specially designed to scan open books. This system is like using a camera to take photographs of the information, as the scanner does not come into contact with the book. Using this method we can take clear, clean scans without damage to the original book.
